Discovering the World of Bees with Pau Torner: A Unique Experience in Avià

This morning, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Mel la Caseta in Avià, an experience that deeply connected us with nature and one of the oldest and most essential professions: beekeeping.

The star of the day was Pau Torner, a young beekeeper whose overflowing passion opened the doors to the fascinating world of bees. Beyond just learning about the honey production process, Pau taught us about the vital importance of these insects to our ecosystem, and explained the current challenges and dangers facing beekeeping in our country.

The visit was a true lesson in sustainability and respect for the land. We learned to value every jar of honey, understanding that it is the result of constant effort and absolute dedication. The calm and beauty of the natural surroundings in Avià allowed us to enjoy the experience without rushing, surrounded by thousands of bees with the sound of nature as our soundtrack.

A Perfect Combination of Relaxation and Learning

This activity is the ideal complement to a relaxing stay at our accommodation, La Cabana de Berga Hotel. After enjoying the peace and tranquility we offer, you can immerse yourself in this authentic and enriching experience.

To top it all off, we tasted Pau Torner’s artisanal honey, a product of the highest quality that reflects the pure taste of our region. It was a visit that, without a doubt, left us with a sweet memory and a greater awareness of the importance of preserving our environment.
